Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abu Talib (4-61 H)

When Al-Hussein was arrested by the army of Yazid, Al-Jausyan Samardi pushing Abdullah ibn Ziyad to kill him. While Al-Husein asks to be confronted to Yazid or brought to the front for jihad against infidels or back to Mecca. But they still kill Al-Hussein with dhalim so that he died a martyr radi 'anhu. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: "Al-Hussein was killed in Karbala near the Euphrates and his body was buried in a murder, while his head was sent to the front Ubaidullah ibn Ziyad in Kufa. Such is narrated by Bukhari in his Saheeh, and from other priests.


As for his head brought to Yazid has been narrated in a way that munqathi '(disconnected) and not true at all about it.


Even in narrations seem something that showed deception and provider-circumstances such history. Mentioned to him that Yazid fangs pierced with iron and that most of the Companions who were present as Anas bin Malik, Abi Barzah and others deny it. Ahlus Sunnah attitude against Yazid bin Mu'awiyyah

An unprecedented human discuss Yazid bin Muawiyyah nor discuss include problems Dien. Until it came to pass after a couple of cases, so that people curse against Yazid bin Muawiyyah, even so they want with it anathema to others. While most of Ahlus Sunnah do not like to curse specific person. Then one of the group who participated hear such believe that Yazid including righteous people were great and Priests who receive guidance.


Then the group who have transgressed against Yazid into two opposite sides:First hand, those who say that he infidels zindiq and that he had killed one of his daughters Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, killing shahabat-shahabat Ansar, and their children in the event of Al-Hurrah (liberation Medina) to redeem his family revenge who was killed in an infidel like her grandparents' Utbah bin Rab'iah, his uncle Al-Walid and besides both. And they mention also that he is well known drinkers khamr and vice-revealing-vice.


On the other hand, some believe that he (Yazid) was imam fair, get directions and give instructions. And he of the Companions or magnifying companions and one of the trustees of God. In fact most of them believe that he will from among the prophets. They say that he who does not argue against Yazid then God will stop him in Hell. They narrated from Shaykh Hasan ibn 'Adi that he is guardian like this and like that. Anyone who stops (do not want to say so), then he stopped in hell because they are such words against Yazid. After days of Shaykh Hasan bertambahlah vanity judge actions in the form of poetry or prose. They ghuluw to Shaykh Hasan and Yazid with cases that menyelisihi what's in it Shaikh 'Adi may Allah sanctify his glorious ruhnya-. Because of the way he was before is good, yet there is heresy-heretic like that, then they get a disaster from the hostile Rafidlah them and then kill Shaykh Hasan ibn 'Adi so that there is no preferred slander Allah and His Messenger.


Two extreme sides against Yazid is menyelishi what was agreed by the scholars and Ahlul Iman. Because the real Yazid bin Muawiyyah born during Caliph Uthman bin 'Affan radliallahu' anhu and never met the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and nor included shahabat with the agreement of the scholars. He was not well-known in Dien and keshalihan problems. He included among Muslim youths not infidels nor zindiq. He came to power after his father was not favored by the majority of the Muslims and diridlai by others. He had the courage and generosity and never appeared disobedience-vices as narrated by his enemies.


But during his reign has occurred great things, namely:


1. The killing of al-Husayn radi 'anhu whereas Yazid is not ordered to kill him nor showed excitement with the murder of Hussein and did not hit his fangs with iron. He also did not bring the head of Hussein to Sham. He was ordered to forbid Hussein with the release of affairs even though the combat. But the envoy in excess of what he was told when Samardi Al-Jausyan push 'Ubaidullah ibn Ziyad to kill him. Ibn Ziyad was hurting him and when Al-Husayn radi 'anhu requested that he be brought to Yazid, or invited to the front for jihad (fighting the infidels along with the army of Yazid -pent), or back to Mecca, they reject it and remain a prisoner. On the orders of Umar bin Sa'd, then they killed him and a group of Ahlul Bait radi 'anhum with dhalim. The killing of his radi 'anhu including major catastrophe, because the actual killing of Al-Hussein-and' Uthman ibn 'Affan before- is the biggest cause of slander on the people. Likewise killer of both is the ugliest creature on God's side. When his family radi 'anhu came to Yazid bin Mua'wiyah, Yazid glorify them and deliver them to Medina.


It was narrated that Ibn Ziyad curse Yazid Hussein for the killing and said: "I actually meridlai obedience Iraqi population without murder Hussein."


But he did not reveal denial of the killer, did not defend well and did not reply, but it is mandatory for him. Then finally Ahlul Haq criticized him for abandoning his duty, coupled with the judge actions of others. While the enemies they add lies-lies above it.


2. Ahlil Medina cancel bai'atnya to Yazid and they secrete messengers and its inhabitants. Yazid was sending troops to them, ordered them to obey and if they do not obey them after three days they will enter the medina by the sword and blood justifies them. After three days, Yazid's army entered Madina an-Nabawiyah, kill them, seize their property, even tarnish honors holy woman, then sent troops to Mecca that is noble and surrounded her. Yazid died during the Mecca besieging forces in the state and it is the hostility and injustice is done on his orders.


Hence, the belief of Ahlus Sunnah and the priests of these people is they do not curse and do not love. Salih ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal said: I say to my father: "Behold a people say that they love to Yazid." Then he rahimahullah said: "O my son, whether to love Yazid one who believes in Allah and the Last Day?" I asked: "O my father, why do you not melaknatnya?" He replied: "O my son, when you see your father curse a person?"


Also narrated that he was asked: "Are you writing hadith from Yazid bin Mu'awiyyah?" He said: "No, and no kemulyaan, was not he who had done against the People of Madinah what he did?"


Yazid according to scholars and Imams of the Muslims is the king of kings (Islam -pent). They do not love her like love righteous people and saints of God nor melaknatnya. Because they do not like to curse a Muslim in particular (ta yin), based on what was narrated by Bukhari in his Sahih of Umar radi 'anhu: That someone called with Hammar often drinking wine.


Often he was brought to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and dicambuknya. Then someone said: "May Allah melaknatnya. How often he was brought to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Nevertheless, among the Ahlus Sunnah also exist that allow anathema to them because they believe that Yazid had done kedhaliman that causes anathema for the culprit.


Another group argues for love because he is a Muslim who holds the government in the days of the Companions and inducted by them. As well as they say: "It is not true what is quoted about it when he had the virtues, or he did it with ijtihad."


Correct opinion is what was said by the priests (Ahlus Sunnah), that they do not love him and do not specialize too melaknatnya. In addition, even if he is a person who fasiq or dhalim, God is still possible to forgive fasiq and dhalim. Even more so if he has great virtues.


Narrated by Bukhari in his Saheeh from Harran bint Umm Malhan radi 'anha that the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said:


... وأول جيش من أمتى يغزون مدينة قيصر مغفور لهم. (رواه البخارى)


The first soldiers who fight Konstantiniyyah be forgiven. (HR. Bukhari)


Whereas the first combat troops are under the command of Yazid bin Mu'awiyyah and at the time of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari radi 'anhu with him.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah went on after that with his words:

"Sometimes it is often confused between Yazid ibn Mu 'awiyah with his uncle Yazid ibn Abu Sufyan. When in fact Yazid ibn Abu Sufyan was of the Sahaba, even the chosen ones among them and he Harb family (father Abu Sufyan ibn Harb -pent) the best. And he is one of the leaders Sham sent by Abu Bakr as-Siddiq radi 'anhu when liberation Sham country. Abu Bakr as-Siddiq never walk with her when delivered, while he was on top of the vehicle. Then Yazid ibn Abu Sufyan said: "O Caliph of Allah, hop! (To the top of the vehicle) or I'll come down. Then Mu'awiya had a son named Yazid in the reign of 'Uthman ibn' Affan and he remained in Sham until the events that occurred.


Which is required to summarize this, and to turn away from talking about Yazid bin Mu'awiya and disasters that befall the Muslims therefore and indeed that is the heresy that menyelisihi Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah. Due to the reason that some people are foolish to believe that Yazid bin Mu`awiyah including the Companions and that he belongs among the luminaries great righteous or fair priests. Heresy-heretic Associated with the killing of Al-Hussein

His murder is a major disaster and Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala has ordained to pronounce istirja '(inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un) when the disaster in the words:


... وبشر الصابرين الذين إذا أصابتهم مصيبة قالوا إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون أولئك عليهم صلوات من ربهم ورحمة وأولئك هم المهتدون.


.... And give glad tidings to those who patiently, (ie) those who, when misfortune befalls, they say: "Innaa lillahi wa innaa ilaihi raaji'uun". Those who get blessed that's perfect and mercy from their Lord, and they are the ones that receive guidance. (Al-Baqarah: 155-157)


While they are doing anything that is prohibited by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam in order to lament like hitting the cheek, tearing clothes, and called on the appeals of ignorance, then the return is very hard, as narrated in Bukhari and Muslim from Ibn Mas'ud radi 'anhu, said: Said the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam:


ليس منا من لطم الخدود, وشق الجيوب, ودعا بدعوى الجاهلية. (رواه البخارى ومسلم)

In another hadith, also in Bukhari and Muslim from Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari radi 'anhu, that he said: "I am innocent of those that the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam disassociate ourselves from it, namely that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam innocent of al-haliqah, ash-shaliqah and ash-syaaqqah. (HR. Bukhari and Muslim)


And in Saheeh Muslim from Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:


أربع فى أمتى من أمر الجاهلية لا يتركونهن: الفخر فى الأحساب والطعن فى الأنساب والإستسقاء بالنجوم والنياحة. (رواه مسلم)

And also he sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:


... وإن النائحة إذا لم تتب قبل الموت جائت يوم القيامة عليها سربال من قطران, ودرع من لهب النار. (صحيح رواه أحمد والطبرانى والحاكم)
