Asma` Bint 'Umais

His full name is Asma 'bint Mad bin Tamim bin Al-Haris bin Ka`ab bin Malik bin Quhafah, called by the name Umm Ubdillah. When the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam ordered for the muhajirin to leave for Medina then almost Asma' fly for joy, this is a dream come true and become Muslims get their country and that they will become the soldiers of Islam will spread Islam and elevate the word of Allah.

When the group arrived at Medina muhajirin, when it did they hear the news that the new Muslims resolve war and bring victory, takbir echoed in all directions because the troops were delighted with the victory of the Muslims and the arrival muhajirin of Abyssinia.
Ja`far ibn Abi Talib came greeted by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam with joy then he kissed her forehead as she said:
"By Allah, I do not know which is more good for me, victory or arrival ja`far Khaibar." Asma 'into the house Hafsa bint Umar when the Prophet married her, when it was Umar entered the house of Hafsah while Asma' was at his side, then he asked to Hafsa, 'Who is this woman? Umar said; 'We have preceded you to emigrate with the Messenger, so we have more right to self Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam than you. "Hearing that Asma 'angry and unable to stem the turmoil of his soul so that he said:" Not for the sake of Allah, you along with the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam while he fed the hungry in between you and teaches those who are still ignorant of you, while we were in a country or in a distant earth and disliked the Habasyah, and all of it is for the sake of keta`atan Allah and His Messenger sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. "Then Asma' paused goes on to say:" By Allah, I do not eat and do not drink so I reported it to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, we were harassed and intimidated, it also will I convey to the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam, I would ask him, for the sake of God I am not lying, not will be distorted and will not embroider. "

When the forces of the Muslims towards Sham, among the three armies are husband of Asma 'the Ja`far ibn Abi Talib. There on the battlefield God chose him from among the army to earn a martyr in the path of Allah.

Furthermore, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said to the members of his family:
"Ja`far be made a meal for the family, as it has come the events that concern them."
Nothing is done by women this mukminah but the tears dry up, be patient and steadfast with hopeing great reward from God. Even during the night he dreamed that her husband like martyr. especially over when he heard one of the men of Bani Murrah ibn Auf said: "When the war, for the sake of Allah as if I saw Ja`far when jumping from his horse which yellowish then he fought until he was killed. Before he was killed said:
O Jannah (paradise) which I craved inhabit
fragrant smell, fresh cool drinking water
Roman soldiers approached the grave
deterred away from relatives

Then Ja`far holding a flag with the right hand but cut his right hand, then he brings with his left hand, but cut his left hand, then he in the chest with both arms until he was killed.

Asma` get the meaning of the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam who once said to his son: "O son of a Assalamu`alaikum who has two sayab."

Apparently God replaces Ja`far severed hands with two wings with which he flew in Jannah will. A mother who is diligently educate shalihah three children and guide them to follow the trail that had been taken by his father who had sayahid, and familiarize them with tabi`at faith.

Not too long ago from the time of Abu Bakr Ash-shidiq come to woo Asma` Bint Umais after the death of his wife, Umm Rumaan. there is no longer any reason for rejecting the proposal of the seutama Asma` Abu Bakr Siddeeq, so finally Asma` moved to the house of Abu Bakr Siddeeq to add the light of truth and the light of faith and to pour love and loyalty in the household.

They want to establish a pilgrimage wada`, then Abu Bakr asked his wife to bathe and Hajj after the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam asked. Then Asma` see events for the sake of a great event, but the biggest event is the death of the leader of the children of Adam and disconnection revelation from heaven. Then he also saw her husband, Abu Bakr came to power for the Muslim caliphate that her husband completed a very complex problematics like fighting apostasy, fighting those who do not want to tithe and send troops Osama and the mountain like a firm stance not hesitate  and not too indecisive, so he witnessed how God's help was given to the Muslims with the attitude of unwavering faith.

Asma` always keep her always feel happy and he lived together with a genuine feeling of her husband helped carry the load with her husband in the affairs of a great people.

But it did not last long because the caliph Ash-shidiq sick and getting worse until the sweat on his upper cheeks. Ash-shidiq with sharpness feeling of a believer who Siddiq feel him close to death so he hastened to intestate. As in the testament he is that he take bath by his wife Asma` bint Umais, in addition to that he advised his wife to break the fast in which he said: "Berbukalah because it makes you stronger."

Asma` felt close he died so he read istirja` and begging for mercy while his eyes did not turn at all from looking at him that his soul returned safely to God. It made Asma` shed tears and sorrow, but the least he did not say anything but the blessed God Almighty, he remained patient and steadfast.

Then he fulfill important matters requested by her husband who had died, because he is the most trustworthy by her husband.

Begin she bathed him and it adds to the sadness and distress him so that he forgot for a second testament. He asked the muhajirin present, 'I'm fast, but today was a very cold day, is it okay for me to take a bath? "They replied," No. "

At the end of the afternoon was buried according Ash-shidiq suddenly Asma` bint Umais remember that both the husband's will for him to break the fast (not to continue fasting). So what we want to do now? whereas only stay a short time again, waiting for the sun sank and the person is allowed to break their fasting? whether he will wait for a moment just to continue shaum?

Loyalty towards her husband had prevented him to betray the will of her husband who has gone, so he took a drink of water and then said: "By Allah I will not be breaking his promise today."

After the departure of her husband, Asma` melazimi home to educate her sons both of Ja`far and of Abu Bakr, he handed over the affairs of her children to God to ask Him to improve their children and Allah fix them until they become a priest for those who fear Allah. This is the culmination of his hope in the world and he did not know the fate that would befall him hidden in the knowledge of God.

He is the brother of Ali ibn Abi Talib from Ja`far which has two wings came Asma` to ask for her hand as a form of loyalty to his brother Ali who he loved, that Ja`far so did Abu Bakr Siddeeq.

After repeatedly thinking and consider it carefully so he decided to accept the proposal of Abu Talib that he can use the opportunity to help build his sons Ja`far. Asma` participate responsibility as the wife of caliph for Muslims in the face of great events. Similarly, Abdullah ibn Ja`far and Muhammad bin Abu Bakr stood beside his father in order to defend the truth.
