Sauda is a tall woman, plump, not pretty, not too rich. She is a widow whose husband died. Prophet chose as his wife because of the levels of solid faith. Nasab and her Islam
Sawda bint Zam'a whose full name Sawda bint Zam'a Syamsin son of Abdi, the son Abdud of Quraish Amiriyah.

Her life attitude

Sauda gave up the nights turn to Aisha solely to earn the good pleasure of Allah. Aisha narrated, when the age of Sauda increasingly elderly and the Prophet wanted to divorce, Sauda said, "Please do not divorce me. I want to always gather with your wives. I'm willing to give up my nights to Aisha. I'm no longer want anything unusual desirable women. "Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wassalm. any attack.

Some time after the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa salam. seriously ill. He asked for the approval of his wives others to stay in the house of Aisha. When the Prophet pain, Sauda never ceasing to visit him and help Aisha until he died. After he died, he decided to worship and draw closer to God. He never left his room except for urgent needs. At times like that of Abu Bakr always see her because he knows that Sauda very loving daughter.

During the caliphate of Umar, Sauda remain aloof to serve until his death. Most history states that he died in the 19th year of Hijrah, while there is also a history of saying that he died on the 54th move.
