Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Ash (Died 63 H)

He is one of Long live the faqih, he converted to Islam before his father, then moved before the conquest of Mecca. Abdullah an ascetic worship, much fasting and prayer, while pursue the Hadeeth of the Prophet Shallahllahu 'alaihi Wassalam. He narrated the hadith number 700 hadith, the Prophet asked permission After Shallahu 'alaihi Wassalam to write, he noted that he heard the hadith of the Prophet. On this Abu Hurayrah said: "No one more than me about the hadith of the Prophet memorized, except Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As. Because he notes while I do not ".


Abdullah ibn Amr narrated the hadith of 'Umar, Abu Darda, Muadh bin Jabal, Abdurrahman bin Auf, and several others. Who narrated from him, among others, Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khatthab, as-Sa'ib bin Yazid, Sa'ad ibn Al-Musayyab, Thawus, and Ikrimah.Most saheeh sanad stemming from it is narrated by Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father and grandfather Abdullah.Abdullah bin Amr died in 63 H at night siege of Al-Fusthath.
